Advanced Vision Technology demonstrated its automatic inspection technology at Mark Andy Europe's recent Open House in Switzerland.
AVT, which has co-operated in development with the narrow web printing equipment manufacturer, is to expand both business and technology collaboration. AVT technology has been installed at Mark Andy's technology centre in Basel and at an Open House and seminar event showed its PrintVision/Helios platforms and information management equipment.
The first integration of PrintVision/Helios and Workflow Link solution on a Mark Andy press was made in 2005. The companies have since struck joint marketing and R&D initiatives, especially in technology for the growing RFID tags manufacturing market.
AVT marketing vice president Gal Shamri says: "Our co-operation with Mark Andy over the years has helped us to better understand the narrow web market needs, and to develop improved solutions for our mutual customers.”
