Autobox reshuffle ahead of new strategy

8 June 2007

Autobox has appointed Barry Tabor managing director of the Leighton Buzzard based manufacturer of short run box making systems.

Barry Tabor joined the company in March 2006 as sales director and his new responsibilities will include implementing a three-year strategic plan with which the company has targeted to grow the business through both increased sales and acquisitions.

Simon Needham, UK sales manager for the past six years, has been promoted to export sales manager with responsibility for continuing the development of sales in existing and new export markets.

Barry Tabor says: “In the past 12 months, we have seen encouraging growth in our export sales. We are set to launch new products later this year that will further enhance our position.”

He adds: “We have identified both joint venture and acquisition opportunities that will enable Autobox to broaden its product range, helping us to achieve our objective of becoming a full systems supplier to the box making industry.”
