Ashe Converting Equipment was “extremely satisfied” with the results of its drupa 2008 participation. The UK manufacturer signed a contract at drupa for a secondary film slitter and reports “huge interest” in the duplex Sapphire S2 slitter it exhibited. Several contracts for the S2 have been signed since the show, with the machine’s ease of operation being cited as the most appealing aspect for customers.
