Prepress and packaging design specialists Esko and Artwork Systems are to combine their operations. The resulting new entity will have estimated 2007 revenues in excess of €180M and a combined workforce of nearly 1,000.
Carsten Knudsen, currently ceo of Esko-Graphics, will become the ceo of the combined group. Guido Van der Schueren, the founder and chairman of Artwork Systems, will become the chief commercial officer leading the new group’s integrated marketing and sales operations. Both will serve as executive directors on the supervisory board of Esko.
