The AWA Linerless Label Seminar 2014, scheduled to be held in Amsterdam on 19 March, is the first ever stand-alone event of its kind, according to organiser Alexander Watson Associates.
Devoted to linerless label use and technology, the new seminar brings together material, technology and machinery developments in an up-to-the-minute briefing on the linerless labelling platform in a broad range of applications, AWA says.
The 19 March event at the Park Plaza Hotel, Amsterdam Airport, is being held – along with a separate seminar on silicone technology – in parallel with AWA’s annual Global Release Liner Industry Conference 2014, which takes place at the same location over the following two days, 20-21 March 2014.
According to AWA, the linerless label technology sector is currently experiencing: “A resurgence of interest from end users in the light of a continuing focus on lowering packaging costs and reducing waste, as well as significant recent technological advances.”
