Surface Specialties UCB has increased the list and off-list prices for all grades of Maprenal and Resimene amino crosslinker products sold in Europe, effective August 1, 2004, or as contracts allow. All high solids amino resin, including hexamethoxymethyl melamines (conventional amino resins – methylated and butylated melamines, benzoguanamines, and urea crosslinkers will increase by €0.10/kg
The price rises are said to be necessary for Surface Specialties UCB "to continue overcoming sustained and on-going increases in key raw materials, energy, transportation, packaging costs, and to ensure sustainability of its business".
