Alpha Converting exhibited its Alphatwin twin-shaft slitter at drupa 2008. The machine is configured for high speed winding with rapid job change. It features a patented automatic knife setting system that is said to reposition both sets of knives in 75 sec. This system can be switched between shear and razor slitting as required.
