22 August 2007

A new study that provides market forecasts for the oxide coated film industry has been published by Allied Development.

‘Transparent Oxide coated Films’, a global survey of SiOx and AlOx coated films for the years 2007 to 2011, provides projections and commentary on several market segmentations. The survey accounts for 89 per cent of total global production, says the publisher.

The report includes 47 tables and figures highlighting market segmentations such as end use, geographic region, coating type, coating process, substrate type, and packaging format. It also presents quantitative forecasts on competitive films including PVdC coated film, Besela film from Kureha Chemical (Japan), Kurarister film from Kuraray (Japan), and Aclar Flex film from Honeywell (USA), amongst many others.

The study also provides five economic case studies such as analysis of transparent oxide oated film production costs and comparisons of competitive barrier materials and structures.

‘Transparent Oxide coated Films’ is available in both electronic and print versions and is priced at US$2,995 (£1,570 / €2175). To order a copy, visit the publisher’s website: www.allied-dev.com.
