Alcan gains Polish plant

Following the approval of Polish and German anti-trust authorities, Alcan has completed its acquisition of the assets of Parkside's flexible food packaging plant in Zlotow, Poland, from the UK administrators of Parkside. The new company will be named Alcan Packaging Zlotow, will employ 150 people, and will become part of Alcan Packaging's European Food Sector.
