On January 1, 2009, Ahlstrom will implement price increases for the Coated Specialties and Industrial Papers produced at its Rottersac and Stenay plants, in France. The increases, whose level will depend on the nature of the products, on existing contracts and invoicing currencies, are blamed on the continuous rise of raw materials in euro currency and energy costs.
