UK based Automatic Handling Europe has acquired SHS Handling Systems and SCMI Container Machinery from the Roulands Group/A P Moller Group for an undisclosed amount.
AHE has relocated its Northwich operation to the SHS factory at Ellesmere Port, a state of the art facility on four acres with 86,000ft² of manufacturing and office space. AHE says the move will allow future growth for the group in a modern factory.
SCMI, based in Massachusetts, offers the complete SHS portfolio and will operate as a sister company to Automatic Handling, and as a North American outlet for its products.
