Davis-Standard is offering its new Flex-Master 1300 extrusion coater as a cost effective option for smaller production capacities. Engineered for short runs of one to two hours for common flexible packaging structures, it is said to enable processors to extrude LDPE, LLDPE, mLLDPE, Surlyn and EVA. Coating speeds up to 300m/min are attainable in 1,000mm finished roll diameters.
Modular components include an extrusion station, anchor coater, turret unwind and rewind, sandwich unwind and laminator.
