Accraply acquires Sleevit

US shrink sleeve labeling equipment specialist Accraply has acquired UK-based Turpins Packaging Group, manufacturer of Sleevit shrink sleeve systems, for an undisclosed sum.

“This acquisition strengthens Accraply’s commitment to the shrink sleeve labeling industry and expands our footprint in Europe,” states Rob Leonard, president of Accraply. “The addition of Turpins and the Sleevit brand within the family of Accraply, Graham, Trine and Stanford brands complements our position as a global provider of a complete range of labeling and converting equipment, backed by an extensive service and parts support network.”

Turpins Packaging, widely known as Sleevit, was acquired in a management buyout in 2005 by co-owners Edward Woods and Phil Carter.
