Static control specialist Eltex has stopped producing DC systems, because its latest AC systems "outperform DC in almost every respect". The new 'depth effect' 50 Series static discharging bars, ionizing blowers and pistols, and power units are smaller, lighter and more effective than their DC equivalents. AC technology also costs less.
