UK based carbon fibre chambered doctor blade supplier Andreotti Engineering reports "remarkable success" in the last two years, with €10M of sales worldwide. Now, major expansion will be reflected by a change in name to Absolute Engineering. The company will be increasing production of the 2G second generation carbon fibre chamber doctor blade.
The 2G has been installed worldwide. Its woven technology is claimed to give higher fatigue strength and it is guaranteed against splintering and splitting – said to be a common problem with first generation unidirectional chambers.
