On the first day of the recent Gulf Print Exhibition, Secure Print Equipment Suppliers, sold an Omega SR 410 slitter inspection rewinder for labels to M/sw Ajanta Packaging FZC, of Sharjah. Manufactured by UK based AB Graphic International, the Omega SR 410 is designed for final finishing and inspection of high quality pharmaceutical and cosmetic labels.
Equipped with a fleyeVision 100 per cent defect detection system, the machine inspects each label for defects such as colour variation, missing text, mis-register and extraneous text. Report files can be generated and electronically archived or printed directly for sending to the customer as a proof of inspection. The software has been recently upgraded to scan bar codes for readability on each label, including 2D data matrix codes.
AB Graphic offers a range of label converting and finishing equipment, either standard or tailored to requirements, including pharmaceutical converting lines, off-line RFID, booklet labelling and Braille machines.
