In co-operation with Convertec, of Sweden, UK based AB Graphic International is marketing the Braillemaker One, a dedicated digital printing machine for Braille. Launched at Labelexpo Europe 2007, the machine is primarily aimed at the production of pharmaceutical labels, leaflets and booklets, and any packaging market where Braille marking is required. It is capable of handling web widths of 150 or 330mm with a maximum roll diameter of 450mm at speeds up to 35m/min. Options include slitting secondary rewinding, vision inspection for Braille verification, and UV curing.
