3M acquires static specialists

In the USA, 3M has acquired SCC Products and JJ Converting for undisclosed sums. SCC, a sister company of Static Control Components, specializes in flexible static control packaging and workstation products for electronic devices. JJ produces film used to make static control bags. Both companies are based in Sanford, NC, and employ approximately 150 people worldwide.
