Germany’s X-label group is to equip all of its presses with Nyscan inspection technology from Erhardt+Leimer, which guaranties 100 per cent inspection of “all” of the print production over the entire run time and web width.
All faults found are permanently documented in a roll protocol subsequently used in the Nyscan workflow to position them on the splice table of the downstream slitter rewinders in the finishing department. This releases the operator from the tedious and difficult task of visually inspecting printed material.
Following a successful initial installation, the system will be rolled out across all presses and slitters across X-Label’s two sites.
