Print Awards 2007 - progress report

Plenty of entries, some new entrants and a challenging two days of judging on November 23 and 24 all auger well for a glittering evening of celebration on March 21, 2007, at The Royal Armouries, Leeds, when the “Best in Flexography” will be celebrated. The event will again be hosted by Roger Black, but in a brand new venue, and the EFTA is looking forward to “an excellent event”.

To book your table, contact EFTA on +44 (0)1458 241455, or email Lesley Hide on hiding@efta.co.uk for a booking form.

The Cash in Waste Award

EFTA’s Cash In Waste Award recognize companies who achieve effective waste management or reduction in environmental impact in their day-to-day operations. Sponsored by Converting Today and sister publication Packaging Today, the award will be made to the company - either printer/converter or supplier - that has, in the eyes of the judges, “contributed most to the saving of resources and reduction of waste”.

Entrants must describe in no more than 500 words why they think they should win the award. They can also attach drawings, photographs, statistics or video clips. The entries should be sent to EFTA managing director Lesley Hide by the end of November.

The Cash In Waste Award will presented during the EFTA Annual Print Awards ceremony at The Royal Armouries, Leeds, on March 21, 2007,
