It allows for the structural realization of three layers, heat seals, coatings to register as matt or gloss varnishes, cold seal, and laminations without solvents, among many other possibilities. In this sense, Comexi has other laminators, such as the Comexi SL2 and SL3, which offer different options for customers. This technology is the ideal answer for those customers who need short runs in flexible packaging.

In addition, Comexi CI8 offers considerable savings for companies due to the fast and keen in-house plate making. Offset technology is characterized by using lithographic plates. This technology reduces cost in comparison to photopolymers or engraved cylinders that have been used in traditional flexo and rotogravure technologies.
