New ELPAD graphical interface presented at Drupa

1 June 2012

Over the last few years Erhardt+Leimer has gained a reputation as a manufacturer of innovative printing solutions. With the new ELPAD graphical interface Erhardt+Leimer presented a new style of operating a line sensor at this year’s drupa. At the new designed booth, visitors could convince themselves of the efficiency and the advantages of the new system.

Even on small systems, using graphical interfaces with touchscreen has become a standard today. Nevertheless, the existing solutions all share one major disadvantage: the operator has to work in two different places to set up one system.

The new ELPAD combines sensor and graphical interface in one comfortable system. Two menus, web guiding and line sensor, allow an easy setup. Using the web-guiding menu the operator can configure all parameters and operate the complete web guiding. Especially through the representation of the fabric surface in a video image the line sensor menu simplifies the learning of the criteria to be scanned. Three learning modes (automatic, semi-automatic and manual) provide additional support for a fast and process-oriented work.

The high numbers of orders at the drupa show that the new ELPAD meets the needs of the customers. They are a sure sign that the new ELPAD will be the next in the series of successful products from Erhardt+Leimer.
